Apart from the daily roster, life at Stellar Living is also full of funactivities  that help the residents feel young and vibrant.

Every resident at Stellar Living enjoys a birthday celebration with all his/her resident friends partaking of the revelry. Then there is still more festivity - like St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Easter and the grand Christmas celebrations, to name just a few. 

For instance, the recent Mother’s Day was celebrated with great fun on May 11th , 2014. The staff spread the  cheer throughout  the dining room with simple flowers and balloons  creating a memorable day.  Every woman was celebrated for the mother that she was to her family and friends. The dedicated staff had spent countless hours planning activities to make every womam feel special and cherished.  . All aging mammas gathered together and played fun games that had been organized just for them.

With red bows proudly pinned to their blouse or dress, the mothers were delighted by the love showered on them by the staff, friends and yes, even family members. Many a happy tear was quickly brushed away from the adoring eyes before the mothers partook of the special ‘feast’ that was laid out to mark the occasion.

Welcome Stellar Living in Phoenix!

I reside in Tucson, Arizona and have been investigating various retirement homes where I could live a comfortable lifestyle with assistance, enjoy activities always at hand, and keep my choice and dignity intact .Investigating living centers online has helped a great deal.  I could compare facilities right from the comfort of my own home.  I was definitely impressed by Stellar Senior Living’s cent in Idaho Falls, but did not want my family to be burdened with the long commute every time they wanted to visit me. Stellar Living’s retirement home also has a center in Colorado Springs.  This may be closer to home, but the distance still seems taxing and time consuming all the same.

But the recent launch of Stellar Living’s latest retirement community located Phoenix city AZ seems to be the answer to my prayers. It’s not all that far from any of my sons, a comfortable drive on any weekend.  The beautifully landscaped grounds and courtyard at Olive Grove retirement community provide a perfect setting to visit with family.

So now I have made my choice and eagerly look forward to spending my days in the wonderful urban setting of Olive Grove in Phoenix and enjoy the lovely views and walking trails. My lifestyle will be active and enjoyable with a wide range of activities such as workouts, puzzles, Bingo nights, karaoke sessions, movies, church services and even off site shopping and excursions to my favorite Diamond Backs baseball games to boot!

I will surely be living my life to the fullest!
